Rockhurst's Lindsay Ewert scored in the 69th minute as Rockhurst defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 2-1 in women's college soccer action at Ralph Korte Stadium.
         SIUE fell to 4-4-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Rockhurst improved to 7-3-1 and 5-1 in the GLVC.
         SIUE picked up the first goal of the game as Correen Roark scored from 15 yards out on a pass from Kayla Fromme at 7:55. The Cougars appeared in control, topping the Hawks with a 12-8 shot advantage in the game.
         Rockhurst tied up the game at 41:14 as Brittany Williams scored from five yards away on an assist from Theresa Hovanec. It would be Hovanec who also would add the game-winning assist on Ewert's goal at 69:00.
         SIUE returns to action Sunday at noon when it faces Drury in a GLVC contest at Korte Stadium.
