         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Kelsey Hubert led Southern Illinois University Edwardsville volleyball with 15 kills Saturday in a three-game victory over Missouri-St. Louis.
         SIUE, ranked No. 14 the AVCA/NCAA Division II national poll, defeated the Tritons 30-20, 32-30, 30-26. The win improved SIUE's record to 13-3 overall and 6-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. With a seven-match winning streak, the Cougars hold a two-match lead in the GLVC West Division.
         The Cougars came out firing against Missouri-St. Louis with 21 kills in game one.
         Missouri-St. Louis, 6-10 overall and 3-3 in the GLVC, looked like it was going to take game two before SIUE came back from a 29-27 deficit to win the game 32-30. UMSL recorded a match-high 16 kills in game two.
         SIUE put the match away in a sloppy game three. The Cougars took advantage of eight attack errors by the Tritons.
         The Cougars now hit the road for a three-match trip at Saint Joseph's, Northern Kentucky and Indianapolis. It will be the first matches of the season against the GLVC East Division.
