LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Nyah Williams, Tyler Bell and Mia Jackson each enjoyed personal bests and landed spots on the program best lists to highlight the Cougars final day at the 2026 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which finished Saturday at the Coleman Sports Complex.
The Cougar women finished sixth, with 62.5 points, just one-half point out of fifth place. The men finished eighth with 32 points.
Williams took second place in the triple jump, jumping 12.56 meters (41-2.50) which is a personal best and also lands her at No. 4 on the program's all-time best list.
Bell took home third place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.03. It was a personal best and good for second on the program's all-time best list.
In the women's 100m hurdles, Jackson earned a personal best with a time of 13.86, landing the No. 4 spot on the all-time best list.

Throws
Maryiah Menicucci's finished second in the shot put. Her last throw of the day went 13.57 meters.
Darius Alberty took fourth place in the men's javelin, throwing 52.07 meters (170-100). Konnor Bouman tossed 40.01m (131-3.00) to finish 11th.
Cassidy Short (35.42m) and Kaylee Allen (31.46m) finished eighth and 10th, respectively, in the women's javelin.
Running events
The men's 4x100m relay team of Bell, Trenton Brooks, Konnor Bouman and Simon McClaine finished seventh with a time of 42.13. The women's team of Jazmin West, Jackson, Calie Field and Kaylee Allen finished ninth with a time of 47.31.
Konrad Sacha ran the men's 400 in a time of 47.64 to finish in fifth place.
Trenton Brooks ran the men's 100 in a time of 10.56 seconds also finishing in fifth place.
Simon McClaine finished seventh in the men's 400 hurdles with a time of 56.24. On the women's side, Megan Derrick also finished seventh with a time of 1:08.34.
In the women's 5,000m, Erica Woodard finished fifth with a time of 17:59.03. Ella Sager came in 22nd with a time of 20:07.73.
In the men's 5,000m, Tanner Emerson led three Cougars in the event. He finished 11th with a time of 15:36.48. Aaron Conderman finished 16th at 16:02.82. Ian O'Laughlin finished 19th with a time of 16:18.91.
In the men's 4x400m relay, the Cougars' team of Sacha, Nathaniel Wright, Plamedi Nseka and McClaine finished sixth with a time of 3:21.37.
The women's team of Allen, Derrick, Calie Field and Jaiden Parker came in eighth with a time of 3:56.33.
