HUNTINGTON, W.v. - The SIUE Track and Field team completed day one of the Chipotle Marshall Invite Friday. Logan Webb (long jump) and Austin Lynch (weight throw) placed first for the Cougars.

Webb took first in the men's long jump with a mark of 21-05.50 and Lynch placed first in the men's weight throw with a toss of 61-03.50.

SIUE's Austin Woodard ran his fourth personal record in four weeks in the men's 3k. His time of 14:56.66 is number five all-time for the Cougars.

For the SIUE women, Kassidy Dexheimer took third in the women's 5000m with a time of 17:23.82. Catherine Jakich placed fourth (51-02.25) and Alexis Hutchins fifth for SIUE in the women's weight throw 

Day two of the invitational will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday.
