Meet Information: The 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships are set to take place at the Abe Stuber Track Complex on the campus of Southeast Missouri. Events are set to start at 9 a.m. Thursday, running all the way through Saturday afternoon.

Last Weekend: The Cougars hosted the SIUE Gateway Classic, taking multiple first place finishes. SIUE's Nichyria Byrd recorded a season best mark while winning the women's long jump (19-9.75).

Men's Top Marks: SIUE's Matt O'Connor sits atop the OVC rankings in the men's 800m with a time of 1:50.54, which was set at the Florida Relays Mar. 28. Last weekend at the Gateway Classic, SIUE men's 4x100m relay team (Collin Brown, Conor McCarthy, Bobby Nuzzo and DeVonte Tincher) placed first with a season best and OVC best time of 41.71.

Women's Top Marks: Byrd's season best long jump at the Gateway Classic is the top mark in OVC. SIUE's Brittney Gibbs recorded the top mark in the triple jump (41-4.5) for the conference at the Memphis Invitational Apr. 26. Alexis Hutchins has the fifth best shot put mark (44-11.5) in the OVC.

Looking Ahead: Multiple Cougars will look to qualify for the NCAA West Regionals, which are set to take place in Sacramento, California, May 23-25.
