TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The SIUE track and field team competed at the Sycamore Invite at Indiana State Saturday.
SIUE WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
--Emily Ellis won the steeplechase (11:33.22), setting a career PR along the way
--Keri Burmester- career PR + event winner 5k
--Kassidy Dexheimer recorded a career PR in 1500 (4:41.88)
--Aly Goff set a career best with a second-place finish in the 800 (2:16.71)
--Gabrielle Horton won the second heat and placed sixth in the 800 (2:22.59)
--Alexis Edgar ran a career best in the 5000 (20:21.50)
--Leijla Hajderovic tied her season best in the high jump (4-11)
--Catherine Jakich placed fourth in the hammer with a personal best (159-9)
--Jamirah Meeks and Hayley Goebel also added PRs in the hammer. Meeks came in at 124-3 while Goebel tossed 121-5
--Meeks added a PR in the javelin (91-7)
