CHARLESTON, Ill. – Day two of the 2021 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships has concluded at O'Brien Field. The competition picks back up tomorrow for the final day of action.
Women's Day Two Highlights
--Kassidy Dexheimer placed eighth in the 3,000 steeplechase (11:16.98). It was a season-best time for Dexheimer.
--Kailah Carter placed fourth in her heat and 13th overall in the 400 (58.49).
--Lejla Hajderovic jumped 5-2.5 and tied for 13th in the high jump.
--Stephanie Montenegro was SIUE's top finisher in the discus (120-2), finishing 14th overall.

"Day 2 was highlighted with some big PRs on the women's side. Lejla jumped a PR and set herself up in scoring position. Kailah ran a lifetime best in the 400 with a great race. Both girls have worked hard and deserve the success they saw today. Kassidy ran a strong race and earned a point for us in the 3k steeple."
