PITTSBURG, Kan. –  The Cougars wrap up the 10^th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic.
 
There were notable performances from Zaria Searcy who claimed first out of 20 in the women's high jump event with a height of 1.63m, and Sheena Cumberbatch who placed seventh at 11.66m in the women's triple jump
 
 
SPRINTS & Jumps
In the women's 200m Jazmin West placed 18th at 25.77 and Darrelle Rice 39th at 26.75.
 
For the men's 200m Konnor Bouman placed 52nd at 23.24, and Chase Burston in 55th at 23:30.
 
Kaylee Allen ran the women's 400m claiming 16th at 57.64. Also running was Makayla White who placed 36th at1:01.33.
 
Taylor Lehman placed 18th in the men's 400m at 49.44. Konrad Sacha also ran claiming 21st at 49.57.
 
The women's 800m consisted of Ella Goodman (22nd/2:23.07) and Megan Derrick (49th/2:32.77)
 
D'Andrew Watson was the only SIUE runner for the men's 800m claiming 28th at 1:56.94.
 
Also competing in the women's high jump event was Harper Smith who tied for seventh with Marah Klover from Central Mississippi, and Ashlynn Dickey from Southern Arkansas at 1.55m.
 
There was also a high jump event on Saturday where Aseanti Boone placed 11th in the with a height of 1.58m.
 
Caden Belcher tied for eighth in the men's high jump at 1.85m.
 
In the women's long jump event, Teagan Sullivan placed 12th at 5.48m, and was followed by Folasade Oladipupo in 21 at 5.19m.

 
THROWS
Gabby Yaccino placed 29th at 13.98m in the women's weight throw. Also competing was Maryiah Menicucci who placed 34th at 13.01m.
 
Menicucci also competed in the women's weight throw placing 12th at 13.12m.
 
For the men's weight throw Joel Degracia finished in 28th at 14.24m.

 
DISTANCE & MID-DISTANCE
In the women's 600 yards Kennedy Williams placed 15th at 1:31.25 and Jazmyn Zurita placed 24th at 1:40.34.
 
Andrew Perry ran the men's mile placing 50th at 4:30.03.
 
Kinze Shea ran the women's 5000m claiming 25th at 18:33.74, with Sophia Harrison following in 30th at 18:47.69, and Riley Doyle in 33rd at 19:17.75.
 
Tyler Guthrie ran the men's 5000m finishing in 31st at 15:33.17.
 
Erica Woodard ran the women's 3000m on Saturday, placing 19th at 10:18.20. Also competing was Mia Loafman who placed 40th at 10:42.86, Emilee Franklin who placed 49th at 10:54.51, and Ana Keller in 53 at 10:56.43.
 
The men's 3000m also took place on Saturday. Tanner Emerson placed 10th at 8:27.02 Jackson Edwards followed in 29th at 8:51.91.

 
RELAYS
The women's 4000m distance medley relay team included Mia Loafman, Megan Derrick, Ella Goodman, and Erica Woodard. Their team placed 11th at 12:38.76.
 
The men's distance medley relay team was Andrew Perry, Casey Borkowski, Logan Luttrell and Tanner Emerson. Their team claimed 13th at 10:27.47.
 
Jaiden Parker, Kennedy Williams, Megan Derrick and Makayla White made up the women's 4x400 team that placed 11th at 4:00.99.
 
The men's 4x400 team consisted of Taylor Lehman, Simon McClaine, Casey Borkowski and Konrad Sacha, placing 15th at 3:18.66.
 
The Cougars had another 4x400 team with Jonah Grawer, Chase Burston, Konnor Bouman and Caden Belcher who placed 27th at 3:26.80.
