COLOMBIA, Mo. – Men's and women's track and field wrapped up the Bob Teel Invite.
There was a strong performance from freshman
Teagan Sullivan who claimed first place in the women's long jump at 5.77m, this is also good for a PR, and
Mia Jackson who claimed fourth in the women's 60m hurdles at 8.94.
THROWS
Maryiah Menicucci took ninth in the women's shot put at 12.09m, and
Abigail Irvin placed 24th at 7.90m.
Menicucci also competed in the women's weight throw placing 15th at 12.98m. She followed
Gabby Yaccino who placed 13th at 13.43m.
Joel Degarcia placed eighth in the men's weight throw at 13.71m.
JUMPS
Also competing in the women's long jump was
Folasade Oladipupo who placed 15th at 5.19m,
Jordyn Elem-Simelton (24th/5.01m), and
Cassidy Short (27th/4.90m).
In the women's high jump
Zaria Searcy tied for sixth place with DaeLin Switzer at 1.60m.
Aseanti Boone placed 12th at 1.55m.
Teagan Sullivan tied with Caroline Murphy from Murray State for 13th at 1.50m.
Harper Smith also tied with Lindley Johnston for 17th at 1.50m.
For the men's high jump
Drew Tucker placed fourth at 1.95m and
Caden Belcher placed sixth at 1.90m.
HURDLES
Also competing in the women's 60m hurdles was
Vashanti Reynolds (6th/9.09) and
Harper Smith (28th/11.59).
Taylor Lehman ran the men's 60m hurdles taking fourth at 8.47.
SPRINTS
Kaylee Allen finished in ninth crossing the finish line at 7.80 in the women's 60m. Also competing in the women's 60m was
Jazmin West (16th/7.87),
Vashanti Reynolds (30th/8.11), Darella Rice (31st/8.15) and
Jaiden Parker (36th/8.28).
Allen also ran the women's 200m placing 14th at 23.32, West also ran the 200m taking 26th at 25.61.
Jaiden Parker placed 39th at 26.20,
Makayla White placed 45th at 26.57, Darelle Rice placed 52nd at 27.48,
Kennedy Williams placed 53rd at 27.56 followed by
Alise Simon at 54th at 27.65.
For the women's 400m
Makayla White came in 27th at 1:00.26th and was followed by
Kennedy Williams in 32nd at 1:02.07.
In the men's 60m
Taylor Lehman placed in 24th at 7.21
Konnor Bouman followed in 15th at 7.21.
Lehman also ran the men's 200m taking sixth at 22.23.
Konrad Sacha placed in eighth at 22.37 and Bouman placed in 10th at 22.77.
Sacha also competed in the men's 400m taking seventh at 50.20 and was followed by
Casey Borkowski in eighth at 51.18.
DISTANCE & MID-DISTANCE
Megan Derrick was the only to run the women's 400m taking 19th at 2:25.28.
In the women's 1000m
Ella Goodman led the Cougars in sixth at 3:08.65. She was followed by
Mia Loafman (10th, 3:12.65),
Courtney Anthonies (11th/3.25.34),
Jazmyn Zurita (14/3:37.32), ant
Peyton Tieffel (15th/3:40.09).
Erica Woodard ran the women's mile taking 12th at 5:07.39. Following her was
Riley Doyle (35th/5:30.30),
Kinze Shea (36th/5:30.60),
Ana Keller (37th/5:31.64),
Emilee Franklin (38th/5:31.67),
Alexis Kampwerth (45th/5:47.18),
Arianna Neisen (46th/5:50.68) and
Kate Soderlind (49th/6:40.09).
D'Andrae Watson and
Logan Luttrell ran the men's 1000m. Watson claimed third at 2:34.91 and Luttrell placed in fourth at 2:43.62.
Tanner Emerson ran the men's mine placing in 27th at 4:18.86. Also competing in the men's mile was
Jackson Edwards (24th/4:27.32) and
Tyler Guthrie (38th/4:35.96).
RELAYS
The men's 4x400 team consisted of Simon McLaine,
Chase Burston,
Casey Borkowski, and
Caden Belcher who placed sixth at 3:24.23m.
